Metso Minerals’s Lokotrack ST620F tracked flat screen provides the option of producing up to four accurately classified end products by maintaining high continuous screening capacity.
With the new ST620F, the original Lokotrack mobile screen range now comprises 8 basic models, from compact contractor units to sturdy quarrying machines.
The new Lokotrack ST620F mobile screen is built around the Nordberg FS303 flat screen that has been widely used in both stationary and portable applications.
The FS303 three-deck screen has a screen area of 13 sq. yd. (10.9 sq m) per screen deck. Its screen length is 20 ft. (6 m) and its width is 6 ft. 4 in. (1.9 m). The required vibrating movement is created using four modern MV series modular vibrator units.
The FS303 is suitable for all typical feed materials from natural gravel to crushed aggregates and recycled materials. Using its wide range of screen media options, fine-tuning the screen in accordance with the required application is easy, according to the manufacturer.
The new ST620F can be equipped with either an apron or belt feed arrangement for versatility and flexibility. With the two hopper options, the unit can be fed from three directions.
Environmentally Friendly Power Pack
Lokotrack ST620F is powered by the environmentally friendly Caterpillar diesel motor C6.6, meeting the latest global emission regulations. The engine generates 225 hp (168 kW) of power.
The Lokotrack ST620F is mounted on heavy-duty 19.7 in. (50 cm) wide hydraulically driven tracks, providing agile onsite mobility and low ground pressure. Optional remote control enables safe and easy relocation onsite.
All four conveyors are hydraulically folded and remain on board for transport, minimizing costs. The unit’s dimensions enable efficient co-operation with other Metso Minerals mobile crushing and screening equipment.
Intelligent Controlling With IC300
Like other ST Series mobile screens, as a standard feature the Lokotrack ST620F benefits from the intelligent controlling through the IC300 system. IC300 automation provides easy process start-up, real-time process steering and fault diagnostics.
Using the interlocking cable, the ST620F can be connected to any other Lokotrack mobile crushing plant or mobile screen for a complete, unmanned crushing and screening process.
Using the apron feeder, the transport dimensions of the ST620F are: length 60 ft. 9 in. (18.5 m), width 11 ft. 4 in. (3.5 m), height 12 ft. (3.7 m) and weight 109,000 lbs. (49,500 kg).
