Long-Time Case Employee, Peter M. Ferguson, Dies, 68

Peter M. Ferguson, 68 of North East, Md., died April 27, 2009, in Christina Hospital, Newark, Del.

Born in Philadelphia, Pa., on Sept. 13, 1940, he was the son of Helen (Kubiak) Ferguson of Mt. Holly, N.J., and the late Paul Ferguson. He was the beloved husband of Audrey A. Ferguson of North East, Md.

Mr. Ferguson worked for Case Heavy Equipment in Racine, Wis., for more than 40 years. His last position was as a business manager serving Case dealers in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.

He enjoyed boating, yard work, swimming, figure skating and working and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed music, especially jazz and classical, horses and traveling.

In addition to his loving wife and mother, survivors include his children: Peter J. Ferguson and his wife Sandy of Elkton, Md., and Heather A. Plewka and her husband Sascha of Linz, Austria; five granddaughters: Kara J. and Sara E. Holbrook, Jessica L. and Holly M. Ferguson, Zoe M. Plewka; and two sisters: Joanne Papendick of Germantown, Pa., and Lynne Tischner of Marlton, N.J.

He also was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy E. Ferguson Hudson, who died on June 20, 2001.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to: St. Mary Anne’s Outreach Program, 315 South Main Street, North East, Md., 21901.
