The Mack Customer Center recently hosted the Lehigh Valley Truck Driving Championships Tune-Up Drive, a warm-up for next month’s Pennsylvania state championship competition.

Throughout the May 20 event, more than 55 professional truck drivers from 15 companies showcased their on-road judgment and maneuvering abilities on a 10-point skills course. Tune-Up Drive competitors also tested their pre-trip prowess, identifying vehicle and load defects during the pre-trip inspection portion of the event.

“We’re honored to host Tune-Up Drive and provide an environment for drivers to demonstrate their abilities and get acclimated to the competitive environment they’ll experience at state and national driving championships,” said Pat Meehan, Mack northeast region vice president. “Drivers competing in the driving championship events exhibit tremendous focus and dedication to their profession. Mack is committed to supporting professional drivers on the skills courses and on the highways.”
