Manitou North America strengthens a 30 year partnership with Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis., with the delivery of new Manitou and Gehl equipment.

"We are proud to continue our long-standing relationship with Road America," said Mark Hanson, CEO of Manitou North America and regional vice president of sales and marketing of Manitou Group. "Road America is an iconic race venue right in our backyard, and we are honored to see our equipment used on the track and throughout the year."

Since 1989, Manitou North America has been the official equipment sponsor of Road America, providing construction equipment that supports the Road America race track and keeps the 640-acre park-like grounds maintained throughout the year. This year, Manitou North America is delivering new Manitou and Gehl telescopic handlers, as well as a Gehl articulated loader and skid loader. The machines are used on race weekends to remove any disabled cars from the track and position thousands of concrete dividers necessary to keep the track in operation and safe for drivers during the race.

Manitou North America also sponsored the entry of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing's IndyCar driver Graham Rahal at the REV Group Grand Prix at Road America on June 22 and 23. Rahal's race car features a throwback livery from Bobby Rahal's 1994 IndyCar with the addition of Manitou and Gehl branding.
