Peter Altenberger

McCann Industries Inc. has hired Peter Altenberger as corporate vice president of sales. In this new role, Altenberger will be working with the company's entire sales organization to find better ways to service current and prospective customers.

This is a homecoming for Altenberger. He started his career with McCann in 1991 as a sales trainee and was with the organization for five years. He left the organization and has held a variety of sales leadership roles within the construction industry.

"I am humbled and excited that I am able to come home after 32 years. I look forward to proving to the marketplace why they need a trusted supplier that cares about their long-term success as much as the success of the project at hand," said Altenberger.

"I am excited to have Peter a part of the team. His leadership will help as we continue to exceed the expectations of prospects, customers and vendors," said Steve Roggeman, president of McCann Industries.

The company also announced that Damian Allen and Jay Courtney have been promoted. Allen is now vice president of construction supplies and Courtney is vice president of construction equipment. Both promotions come with greater responsibility within their respective divisions.

"Damian and Jay have been instrumental in the growth of our business. I look forward to how they evolve their divisions," said Roggeman.

"Damian and Jay have both done a great job growing their respective divisions during the last several years. Bringing Peter back in this new role will pay dividends," said Jim McCann, CEO of McCann Industries.
