On Sept. 15, McCann Industries Inc. held an open house and equipment rodeo at the company's location in Bolingbrook, Ill. The skid steer rodeo and CX excavator challenge each featured a top prize of $750 and a jacket. The event also featured hourly prizes.

This year, McCann Industries Inc. is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The company was originally founded as McCann Construction Specialties Company in 1967 by Richard McCann to sell contractor supplies. Today, McCann Industries Inc. represents more than 400 suppliers and manufacturers.
