In recognition of exceptional safety culture by the McCann Associates with 1,000 plus days of no lost day incidents, McCann Industries received a “Safety Partnership Award” from insurance providers Weible & Cahill LLC and Arch Insurance Group.

“We reached 1,000 days on March 18, 2010, so each day is a new record. I am proud of our McCann Associates and safety teams for reaching this important goal. Everyone works together and helps each other to think safety first each and every day,” stated Dennis Kruepke, McCann president and CEO.

Sam Maack, Weible and Cahill LLC said, “The total McCann team, from top to bottom, is dedicated to a safety culture that has proven to be an effective tool in preventing injuries and controlling lost time costs. McCann understands the value of safety and we are pleased to be able to make this presentation today.”

Safety and health costs continue to challenge companies. With available work and margin pressure, these costs can make the difference between being profitable or not for many organizations.

“With almost three years of a clean record, we tell our associates now is not the time to let down our guard. Think safety first; go home from work in the same condition you came.”

McCann Industries Inc. with eight locations throughout the Chicago area provides a full range of equipment, contractor supplies and services for the construction industry.

Weible & Cahill LLC is a general retail insurance agency serving clients throughout the Chicago area and the upper Midwest region with business, personal and employee benefits insurance.
