McMillen 75 Series augers by Paladin dig holes for utility, construction and landscaping applications with minimal damage to the surrounding area. The series includes a broad selection of models that attach to skid steers, backhoes, tractors, wheel loaders, excavators and telehandlers. McMillen 75 Series augers utilize a sealed planetary reduction auger drive to efficiently and safely dig holes through most dirt conditions. With auger diameters ranging from 4 to 36 in. (10 to 91 cm), operators have the flexibility to dig specific hole sizes that match each application. The heavy-duty, all gear design provides extended life with minimal maintenance and service, according to the manufacturer.
All moving components are completely sealed and lubricated for maximum cooling and minimum wear during the job. McMillen 75 Series auger drives are bi-directional, allowing the operator to back out of an obstruction and quickly pull the auger drive from the hole. If immovable or hard objects are hit while digging, an internal hydraulic relief valve protects the unit and hydraulic system. This feature also allows these drives to perform at maximum capacity across a wider range of loaders. Each auger comes with a comprehensive 2-year warranty that includes the planetary drive.
