As of March 1, 2011, Scott Snyder has been appointed Metso’s vice president, vibrating product lines, equipment and systems business line. In his new position, Snyder will be responsible for the vibrating product lines globally, including the leadership of the product line engineering teams in Sorocaba, Brazil and Mâcon, France. He also will assume leadership of the market area product line support teams.

In a related move, Greg Albert has been appointed vice president, business development of the Asia-Pacific market area. Snyder has been working with Albert for some time to ensure a smooth transition to his new appointment.

Snyder has gained a strong knowledge in vibrating products in various roles outside Metso.

“I believe we have the screening products that our customers want and need,” said Snyder. “We are constantly expanding and upgrading our technology, screen media, monitoring systems and processes. With the forthcoming release of the Ellipti-Flo and Lokotrack ST3.5 screens, I feel very excited to be taking on this expanded role.”
