Metso has appointed Scott Snyder to the position of product manager, vibrating product line, North America. The appointment is effective July 1, 2010, and Snyder will be based in Metso’s York, Pa., office.

“We are delighted to welcome Scott to the Metso team,” said Greg Albert, Global vice president, vibrating equipment, Metso. “He brings an extensive knowledge and expertise in screening, instrumentation and process control systems.”

Snyder will assume the leadership of Metso’s vibrating equipment product line for the North American mining, construction, and mobile equipment markets. This will include the establishment and development of manufacturing operations at Metso’s Columbia, S.C., facility.
