Miller-Bradford & Risberg hosted its first Rodeo Challenge at its Negaunee facility May 2.

The event took place at 75 U.S. Highway 41.

Excavator operators tested their skills by maneuvering Case excavators through unusual obstacle courses. All proceeds raised from the event were donated to the Pigs-N-Heat Fire Relief Fund, which aids Marquette County families who have suffered losses due to fire.

Winners were determined by combining their times for two courses that showcased their speed and skill operating excavators. The first place winner was Joe Juidici of Joe Juidici Trucking and Excavating, who was awarded a 37-in. LCD HDTV. Nick Bosanic of the city of Manistique earned second place and received a $250 gift card to Gander Mountain, and Ryan Carey of Carey Logging was third and received a $150 Gander Mountain gift card.

Miller-Bradford & Risberg has been selling and servicing heavy machinery since 1944. The company has expanded to include eight branch locations throughout Wisconsin, Michigan and Illinois. Manufacturers represented by Miller-Bradford & Risberg include: Case, Kobelco, Bomag, Terex, Terex Fuchs, Sandvik, Volvo’s Blaw-Knox, and other top brands.
