Milton CAT Vice President of Sales, Dave Perry, has announced that effective immediately, successful negotiations with Metso have resulted in the Milford, Mass. based company becoming the authorized dealer for mobile crushing equipment to the contractor market segment for Milton CAT’s entire territory.

According to Perry, in 2004 Milton CAT had been granted the rights to distribute the Metso line of mobile crushers as well as Metso screening equipment, only in its New York territory. In New England, the rights to distribute Metso crushing equipment to contractors were retained by another company. Perry added that as a complement to the Metso brand of screeners being offered by Milton CAT in New England, Milton CAT has offered customers in this region the Hartl PowerCrusher line of crushers.

Perry explained that the new arrangement solidifies Milton CAT’s crushing and screening presence, provides customers with a powerful advantage and strengthens the relationship between Milton CAT and Metso.

“With distribution rights for the mobile crushing and screening line of Metso products territory-wide, an experienced sales team dedicated to this segment, a parts department that can supply wear parts to any make or model crusher or screener and unmatched field service for this most demanding of applications, we are in a very good position to serve our customers and continue to deliver valuable, differentiated solutions.”

Larry Cutliffe, Milton CAT vice president of marketing added, “Having a single brand offering throughout our entire territory gives us a stronger image and allows us to market, sell and support these products in a cleaner, more direct way.”

Perry stated that Milton CAT will continue providing product support to the Hartl PowerCrusher line of crushing equipment that the equipment dealer has been selling throughout New England, ensuring that their customers will continue to receive best-in-class support.
