Minnesota Trade Show Features Green Industry Solutions

Wed February 06, 2019 - Midwest Edition #3
MNLA

Northern Green, the green industry education and trade show held Jan. 15 to 17 at the Minneapolis Convention Center, set the stage for personal and professional growth in 2019.

The event featured a showcase of region-relevant products and services and the connections green industry professionals need to build their businesses. The three-day gathering had more than 350 exhibiting companies, spanned over 198,000 sq. ft. and provided the opportunity for green industry companies to exchange ideas, connect with suppliers, and learn from green industry experts in every field.

"We like to say that Northern Green has everything for the green industry all at one time and all in one place," Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association Executive Director Cassie Larson said. "It's the can't-miss event of the year. There's lots of inspiration and fun around every corner on the trade show floor."

Attendees said Northern Green is a fantastic way to start each year as it provides energy, camaraderie, and learning all in a fun atmosphere.

"Northern Green has been a leading conference in our region for 17 years, and we want to ensure it remains a must-attend event for years to come," said MNLA Past President Scott Frampton. "Continuing to offer new elements such as the innovation theater, demonstration of drone technology, safety training, DOT audits, campfire sessions, and even an escape room all reflect our rapidly-changing industry and continued to bring new energy to the event this year."

Next year's event will bring together equipment companies from across the region Jan. 14 through 16, 2020, at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Northern Green is co-sponsored by the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA) and the Minnesota Turf and Grounds Foundation (MTGF).
