Monroe Tractor, a distributor in construction and agriculture equipment in New York state, has acquired Case of New England, a Case dealership in Massachusetts. This acquisition will enhance Monroe's ability to serve the New England construction industry.

The purchase of Case of New England, based in Shrewsbury, Mass., further increases Monroe Tractor's offering in the construction equipment market.

“The combination of the two companies synergies, Case of New England's expertise in the area and our vast history as a Case dealer, will provide customers with an even greater level of service and support,” said Janet Felosky, CEO and president of Monroe Tractor.

“The acquisition is also expected to result in greater efficiencies and significantly increase market share,” added Chuck Miller, general manager construction division.

Case of New England will now operate as Monroe Tractor of New England and continue to provide Case Construction equipment, parts and service out of its Shrewsbury and Woburn locations. With this acquisition, identified new needs to better serve the New England area and positions will be created, according to the company.

Monroe Tractor, a family-run dealership in New York state with 66 years in construction and agriculture distribution, has a strong partnership with Case. The company currently employs 220 employees throughout New York state and now Massachusetts.
