Compact in size, but strong on the job, Morbark’s Clipper 6, 6-in. (15 cm) capacity drum-style unit is a good fit for the rental market, landscape companies, nurseries and homeowners.
This compact machine, complete with a 2-in. (5 cm) ball towing hitch and a tubular steel frame, makes transporting a breeze, according to the manufacturer.
Offered standard with an auto-feed system, a 30- by 20-in. (76 by 51 cm) infeed chute and 10.5- by 7-in. (26.7 by 17.8 cm) throat opening, the Clipper 6 provides increased chipping abilities.
A hydraulic drum brake, which brings the drum from full rpms to a complete stop in eight seconds, allows the Clipper 6 to provide maximum production while saving wear and tear on the machine.
The direct drive coupling system protects the hydraulic components and the mechanical top feed wheel comes with spring assisted down pressure. The Clipper 6 is equipped with perforated drum slides for increased discharge flow and a fixed discharge system with an adjustable chip deflector.
