More than 2,550 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar, unreserved, public equipment auction in Phoenix, Ariz., on Sept. 2, 2015.

Bidders came from 44 countries, including 48 U.S. states. Approximately 58 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Egypt, Sweden and Thailand. Online bidders purchased approximately 47 percent of the equipment sold by dollar value.

More than 2,050 equipment items and trucks were sold in the auction, including 45 compactors, 30 excavators, 30 loader backhoes, 40 dump trucks, 85 truck tractors, 145 trailers, 110 pickup trucks and more.
