Construction Equipment Guide

Multiquip’s InstaPrime pumps are designed for moving large quantities of water quickly and efficiently in a diverse range of applications.

The InstaPrime Series moves up to 5,000 gal. (19,000 L) per minute in model sizes ranging from 6 to 12 in. (15 to 30 cm). They excel in the dewatering, sludge, sewer-bypass and well point jobs performed by pumping contractors, municipalities and rental operators, according to the manufacturer.

These pumps combine recent innovations with more than half a century of pumping design technology to create reliable units that are easy to service, and boast long run times and increased fuel economy.

InstaPrime features a screw-type impeller for increased flow using the same horsepower as other models. The pumps eliminate the need for wear parts and each is fitted with a 15-gal. (570 L) fuel tank for extended continuous run times of up to 100 hours.

Powered by 40 to 96 hp (30 to 71 kW) Deutz diesel engines, these high-flow InstaPrime pumps showcase heads of up to 143 ft. (43 m.) and can generate lift of 30 ft. (9 m) in only 30 seconds. Each also handles solids up to 3.6 in. (9.1 cm), pump and priming system drain valves to eliminate the risk of water freezing in the unit, and a water lube vacuum pump to prevent oil leaks and other unwanted priming discharge.

Accessories offered with each InstaPrime model include suction hoses, quick disconnect fittings and discharge hoses.
