Terry Murphy, quality control manager at Meyer Material, has announced his retirement effective May 1.

Murphy has been in the concrete industry for more than 40 years and for many of those years was an active member of the IAAP Specifications/Technical Committee.

His significant knowledge of the aggregate/concrete business served Meyer Material and IAAP well during our many contacts over the years with IDOT.

“His ability to understand the delicate balance that IDOT requires as both customer and regulator brought him respect from his peers and IDOT alike. IAAP will miss his guidance,” said John Henriksen, IAAP executive director.
