Murphy Tractor & Equipment, founded in 1982, is headquartered in Wichita, KS, and has 16 locations throughout the Midwestern states of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.

Each location has a full complement of equipment and parts inventories, service technicians and field representatives. By taking on the Hitachi line, Murphy Tractor & Equipment is in a position to provide improved service and delivery, as well as more service locations.

Murphy Tractor & Equipment Company is one of John Deere’s largest North American construction equipment dealer organizations and is trained, stocked and ready to support Hitachi products.

Hitachi excavators range from 1.7 to 800 t and rigid frame trucks from as small as 60 tons and as large as 350 tons.

John Deere and Hitachi have had a relationship since the 1980’s. With the integrated marketing agreement between the two companies, John Deere has marketing responsibility for North, Central and South America.
