Meeting the needs of landscapers, construction contractors, utility and grounds maintenance contractors and others who require the features of a smaller size compact track loader, New Holland has introduced the C175, with 2,200 lbs. (998 kg) rated operating capacity and an operating weight of 7,535 lbs. (3,418 kg).
Having an overall width of 71.1 in. (180.6 cm) over the tracks, a length of 129.5 in. (329 cm) and a ground pressure of 5.3 psi (.36 bar), the C175 can get into hard-to-reach areas with little disturbance to the working environment and will fit on most standard trailers, according to the manufacturer.
The C175 has a New Holland turbocharged engine rated at 60 gross hp (44.7 kW) and features a standard two-speed transmission for travel speeds up to 7.4 mph (11.9 kmh).
The C175 has no rear frame towers to block the operator’s view. The new machine also has a simple, rugged undercarriage design for long life and minimum maintenance.
“The C175 has one of the fastest boom and bucket cycle times in the industry, like all New Holland compact track loaders and skid steer loaders,” said David Daniels, New Holland brand marketing manager.
“The new machine also has many of the same optional features found on our larger compact track loaders, such as an air conditioned cab and pilot controls.”
With a full 10-ft. (3 m) lift height and 30 in. (76 cm) of forward reach and increased stability, the C175 enables the operator to move large loads to increase productivity and improve the bottom line.
