Construction Equipment Guide

New Holland’s SuperBoom skid steer models feature improved visibility, lift capacity, stability, dump height and reach.

Nine skid steer models range from 14.4 to 74 net hp on the L190, with rated operating capacities from 600 to 2,800 lbs. (272 to 1,270 kg).

Reach, Muscle, Speed

New Holland skid steers are designed to make quick work of tough jobs, with features including the Super Boom vertical lift linkage for greater reach, a long wheelbase for stability and high ground speeds, and dump angles for faster cycling.

All Super Boom skid steers are designed with a long wheelbase, which keeps the center of gravity low for better load-carrying capability and greater lift capacity per pound of machine.

Large loader lift and bucket cylinders provide strong breakout for tough digging applications. An optional high-flow hydraulic system provides a total flow of 34 gal. per minute to power high productivity attachments, like augers and hydraulic hammers.

Increased Visibility

Because of the vertical lift design, the operator has increased visibility to the front and rear. The engine hood is low and there are no rear towers to block an operator’s view to the rear.

Looking out the front, the operator has a clear, panoramic view. The low boom cross-member lets the operator see the bucket’s edge when the boom is down.

For operator comfort, the operator station is isolated from the frame to reduce vibration. The cab has a wide entry and provides plenty of leg, elbow and shoulder room. The seat and foot pedals are adjustable for a more comfortable ride, and all controls are within easy reach.

Easy to Service

Super Boom skid steers are easy to service and maintain. Drive chains don’t need routine adjustments. Oversized loader pins ensure long life in the toughest conditions, and brakes are maintenance-free.
