New Millennium Rentals, located in Florida (Middletown), N.Y., has been providing unique equipment rental solutions for the demolition, recycling, environmental and reconstruction industries since its founding in 1999. Its mission has been to match excavators with highly specialized demolition fronts and attachments that are not available through traditional distribution outlets.

Over the past few months, the company has expanded its inventory to meet the growing diverse needs of its customer base. Three Volvo EC480E HR high reach demolition machines were recently purchased.

“These carriers offer a 93-foot vertical reach from an excavator that was specifically designed and engineered for high reach demolition work. It can handle up to a 7,700-pound demolition attachment,” said Peter Menner, New Millennium Rentals founder and owner.

To meet those attachment needs, New Millennium Rentals has a large selection of Genesis hydraulic shears and concrete processors in stock available for rental or sale

In addition to the Volvo machines, New Millennium Rentals has added several Link-Belt 350X4 series excavators that are available with two-piece 60-ft. (18 m) high reach fronts that were designed and purpose built by New Millennium Rentals and Jewell Manufacturing.

“These Link-Belt machines can handle up to 5,700-pound demolition attachments,” Menner said. “They are ideal for customers with a short-term rental needing a compact demolition machine with 60-foot reach. The reason these machines are ideally suited for short-term rentals is that they are transportable in a single tractor trailer load.”

New Millennium Rentals also has added to its Genesis steel shear arsenal, with two model GXP1500R rotating steel shear.

“These are the largest shear packages mounted on 800 class excavators you can rent east of the Mississippi,” Menner said. “We made the investment into this size upon the request of our heavy industrial wrecking clients.”
