Haulotte's STAR 13 PICKING is a new solution for executing day-to-day work in retail indoor applications: stock-checking, inventories, order and stock picking, decoration applications, POS (Point-Of-Sale) signage and also building maintenance.
STAR 13 Picking has been equipped with double lateral "lambo" doors with open-door sensors. The lambo doors offer numerous of benefits: the doors are easy to open and close, it's easy to get on and off the platform quickly with plenty of space around the machine, the doors do not take up space on the platform, offering operators complete freedom of motion. For operator safety, sensors desactivate any movement of the machine, if one of the door is not closed.
Due to baseboards and anti-skid step on both, step up to the platform guaranteeing operator safety.
The picking tray of the STAR 13 Picking features removable side panels and a front-end guardrail to protect goods. With packages perfectly braced, there is no risk of falls and damage to products. A real plus in terms of safety.
The STAR 13 Picking features a mast with reversed caissons, offering the platform greater stability and rigidity. Operators feel safe and can work with complete peace of mind.
Operators have maximum visibility in the platform due to the mast design, located at the same level as the guardrails. Nothing restricts their field of vision.
The STAR 13 Picking is the first aerial working platform equipped with the optional ACTIV'pedestrian light.
The system is automatically activated when the machine is in motion, projecting a spotlight in front of the machine to alert bystanders. This makes it possible to enhance the machine's visibility around corners, preventing collisions with pedestrians in warehouses or customers in shop.
The STAR 13 Picking can safely lift up to 175 lbs of goods at once for greater productivity without compromising safety.
With a forward speed of 2.8 mph, the STAR 13 Picking moves quickly to ensure optimal productivity. The possibility of elevating the platform and the picking tray simultaneously also makes for greater efficiency.
The STAR 13 Picking features quiet motors. Whether driving or elevating, and even when using the motorized platform, the machine offers absolute acoustic comfort.
With a high load capacity, no edge on tray and mobile side panels and front-end guardrail, the working time is optimized.
The chassis has been designed to permit the passage of forks to lift STAR 13 Picking along the width, in total security. In addition, this new fork lifting feature allows the machines to be easily loaded and transported in a standard truck bed. This represents an added value to reduce transport time. The chassis has also been redesigned to allow for easy stowage of the new STAR 13 Picking.
The inside platform width has been increased to provide more space for the workers. Ergonomics is improved with easy open lambo doors. Offering up to 20 percent more floor space that selected competing models, the STAR 13 Picking lets operators work in the platform without feeling cramped.
The motorized picking tray can be elevated to allow operators to lift packages with no strain. This makes for a considerable reduction in fatigue, as well as muscle and join pain.
Combining high torque with precise and smooth control, elevating and driving function, the AC motors provide unmatched precision and comfort to get in and out the most confined areas. Two front steering wheels for a low turning radius help operators to manoeuver in the most restricted spaces.
Due to a joystick with rocker for steering, the new STAR 13 Picking is driven with accuracy in confined spaces for precise positioning with only one hand. An additional auxiliary control box manages both lifting of picking tray and platform. The user-friendly joystick is simple and control buttons are intuitive.
The STAR 13 Picking go through standard doors and can be parked on either side of the shelf due to dual side doors. Operators can easily raise or lower the platform in any configuration.
The reverse caisson with the three-stage cylinders has no chain and no cable. This means the operator benefits from a rigid & safe machine requiring less maintenance.
With no carbon brushes to change, no hydraulic drive and less mechanical parts for the on-wheel axis, maintenance is close to 0.
The chassis is entirely made up of shock absorber and highly robust metallic housing. As there is no risk of breakage or cracking upon impact, the cost of ownership is optimized. The wheels have been integrated in the chassis base for low exposure to shock. STAR 13 Picking is also equipped with integrated and dedicated space for charger cable, and integrated walkable polymer protection plinth.
Direct access to control points means checks can be performed more quickly. The tilt sensor is thus now placed just under the platform, with direct vision & access inside the mast while TWO swing-out trays facilitate inspection of the batteries & charger and the hydraulic system.
The STAR 13 Picking has incorporated the new on-board diagnostic tool, Haulotte Activ' screen, providing access to full information on the cause of failure, the components to check, their location, and the actions to be taken, making troubleshooting easy.
This Haulotte ACTIV'Screen displays both general information available for all users and information destined for the technician accessible by an access code.
