Ryan Foley, vice president of Foley Rents, Foley Inc., Piscataway, N.J., announced that Patrick Brosnan has joined the company as a rental account manager.

Brosnan gained experience working for another Caterpillar dealership, where he was a sales representative for its compact construction equipment (CCE) and building construction products (BCP). With his CCE/BCP sales title, Brosnan focused on the New York City territory for six years selling CCE, BCP and various construction and mining industry (CMI) products, which included Caterpillar material handlers. He also was responsible for the entire scrap market in New York City.

“While calling on customers in New York City, Pat learned the virtues of ’fast-paced customers’, which will benefit him in the fast-moving world of the Cat Rental Store,” Foley said.

While employed there, Brosnan also was a head graduate in a Caterpillar Dealer Leadership Development program.

As a Foley rental account manager, Brosnan will be responsible for all outside rentals of Caterpillar equipment in Bergen, Union, Morris, Somerset and Hunterdon counties, as well as the sale and rental of all allied equipment in the same territory, such as Sykes Pumps, Sullair air compressors and Genie aerial lifts.

“Patrick’s knowledge of Cat products and services will be a significant advantage to the customers he will serve in his territory, and will ensure their jobs are completed efficiently and profitably” said Foley.

Based in Piscataway, N.J., Foley is the Caterpillar dealer in North and Central Jersey, Staten Island and Bermuda. CEG
