JESCO recently expanded its equipment fleet through the addition of several product lines including water trucks, pavers and a variety of specialty attachments including extended reach booms, side booms and rotating crushers.

JESCO made the commitment to stock these types of equipment as a way to further service its existing customer base.

“We found that our customers were asking for these types of equipment more and more,” said Jonathan Robustelli, president of JESCO.

“We wanted to hold true to our focus on customer service by providing our clientele with a one-stop solution for all their equipment purchase, rental and service needs, so we decided to partner with manufacturers of these types of equipment to provide just that.”

J.F. Kiely Construction Co., a longtime customer, recently purchased three John Deere wheel loaders for its utility business — a 644J, 624J and a 544J — fitted with Midwestern Machinery side booms.

“The side boom wheel loaders were purchased specifically for the installation of gas and water mains throughout the state of New Jersey,” said Ray Sexton, J.F. Kiely vice president.

“We were happy that JESCO was able to provide us with these specialty side booms. We have been purchasing our equipment from them for years and it saved us the hassle of having to find another vendor. Instead, we received the equipment ready to work on the intended application.”

Over the years, JESCO has provided J.F. Kiely with other specialty equipment solutions for particular jobs, including excavators equipped with JRB’s Smart Loc coupler system for pipeline installation in Egg Harbor Township, N.J.

The quick disconnect coupler system helped maximize uptime by allowing machine operators to work on other projects, then quickly disconnect from the attachment being used to be ready to assist in placing pipe in the trench when needed, said John M. Kiely, president of J.F. Kiely Construction.

JESCO also has customized excavators and wheel loaders for Giordano Recycling & Demolition of Marlboro, N.J. JESCO recently mounted an Ohio Magnetics magnet and Gensco generator on a John Deere 230C LC excavator and equipped its wheel loaders with foam tires and junkyard forks.

Giordano also has purchased a Deere 450CLC with a LaBounty shear and a Deere 270C LC with a JRB Smart Loc coupler, Skeleton bucket and Badger grapple.

“We have been dealing with JESCO for over 15 years,” said Michael Giordano, owner of Giordano Recycling & Demolition.

“We have a great relationship with them and work together with our Sales Representative Matt Jensen to retrofit equipment with options that make it more productive for our company.

“JESCO specs, orders and installs all of the necessary components, then delivers the final product, allowing us to remain focused on our workload,” said Giordano.

JESCO also carries specialty equipment in its rental fleet for customers who need equipment on one job that they may not necessarily have a recurring use for. Manufacturers represented by JESCO include John Deere, Bomag, Jewel Manufacturing, Indeco, Geith, Woods, JRB, Henke, Versa, Tink, Wain-Roy and ACS.

JESCO has been supplying contractors throughout New Jersey with construction equipment and service support for more than 35 years.

JESCO has three branch offices located in South Plainfield, Fairfield and Lumberton, N.J.
