Nordberg Becomes Metso Minerals

On April 2, 2001 Nordberg will change its name to Metso Minerals. This change reflects the long-tern strategy of the parent company, Metso Corporation, and its intent to grow the company’s rock and mineral processing business. As a part of this strategy, Metso has also made a public offer to acquire all the shares of Svedala Industri AB.

Metso Mineral is a manufacturer of complete crushing and screening systems and spare and wear parts, service the rock and mineral processing industries.
