Northland JCB Holds Grand Opening in Concord, New Hampshire

What boy wouldn't love playing on heavy equipment all day? Northland JCB’s new facility, located at 114 Hall St. in Concord, N.H., features in part a spacious lobby. From manufacturing custom military grade equipment to donating to the “Building Homes for Heroes” organization, the JCB family does a lot to support the U.S. military. Both JCB and Northland JCB are proud to support service members and veteran and their families. Local news station 93.3 The Wolf broadcast live at Northland JCB’s grand opening. Fungo, the mascot of New Hampshire’s Fisher Cats team. also was on hand. Construction contractors, landscapers, tree and nursery contractors and municipal workers attended the event.

Northland JCB held an official grand opening May 18 of its Concord, N.H., facility.

Construction contractors, landscapers, tree and nursery contractors and municipal workers attended the event that featured not only the new facility, but also an array of JCB equipment, along with Avant mini-loaders and Vibroscreen screeners.

In addition, guests were treated to catering by Lunch Lady Food Truck, a demonstration of the JCB GT, “the world's fastest backhoe,” music and live event coverage by 93.3 The Wolf. Northland JCB awarded a variety of door prizes, and the mayor of Concord, Jim Bouley, arrived for the ribbon-cutting ceremony flanked by the Concord Chamber of Commerce.

Turnout for the event was high.

“We sent out postcard invitations, flyers, radio ads, and a social media blitz to get people here and they turned out,” said Chris Jackson, who heads up Northland JCB's marketing team. “We couldn't be happier.”

“We've been at this new location for nearly a year, so it was time we officially invited our customers and anyone from the wide variety of industries we serve,” added Mark Silva. Northland JCB vice president of sales. “It's been a great day to show off our investment. A facility like this is all about better serving our customers, and we've got the inventory to show off as well.”

Northland JCB's Concord facility, located at 114 Hall St., is among six total for the company. Other facilities are located in Wilmington, Mass.; Shrewsbury, Mass.; Middleboro, Mass.; Lewiston, Maine; and Wallingford, Conn.

Commitment to strong customer service is why Greg White, Northland JCB sales representative, believes customers flocked to the grand opening in Concord.

“Northland JCB is a great company to work for,” he said. “I've been here about a year and I really like the focus on fanatical customer service. JCB makes a great product and we stand behind that product. That's why our customers swear by us.”
