On Jan. 21 to 23, 2015, heavy equipment manufacturer JCB welcomed its North American dealer principals, field sales representatives and field service representatives to Savannah for a special three-day meeting called “Strive for 5 — Building Success Together.” At that event, Northland JCB of Wilmington, Mass., was recognized for achieving the company’s “Top Sales Performance in Construction,” an award reserved for the dealer selling the most JCB equipment within construction markets.

“We’re very pleased to have received this prestigious award from JCB, ” said Alan Hammersley, chief operating officer of Northland JCB. “We’re committed to quality throughout our entire organization, and being recognized by JCB for those efforts makes it all worthwhile.”

In 2014, Northland JCB achieved 45 percent year-over-year machine sales growth and was one of JCB’s top ten dealers by retail volume. The dealership also was the number-one performer in JCB backhoe loader sales with a staggering 175 percent year-over-year increase. Northland exceeded both its parts sales and attachments sales goals for the year while growing revenue and profitability. The dealership also has gone the extra mile by conducting internal operations reviews with all departments to improve their ability to support customer needs.

“This event gives us the chance to thank outstanding dealers like Northland JCB, our entire dealer family and all JCB employees who contributed to the successes we experienced in 2014,” said JCB North America’s President and CEO Arjun Mirdha. “We’re pleased to share the company’s goals for the future while also celebrating our dealers’ many accomplishments.”
