Nortrax recently hosted a ground breaking ceremony for its new branch facility in West Palm Beach, FL.
The new facilities will be adjacent to its existing branch office which was built in the 1960s. The new building will include more than 5,600 sq. ft. of office space, 3,400 sq. ft. of parts and 14,000 sq. ft. of shop area.
The existing 9,000-sq.-ft. building will be remodeled. According to Steve Colangel, Nortrax’s general manager for the West Palm Beach branch, “The new facilities will increase our capacity to support our customers. We cover from Sebastian to Hollywood and the growth in this area has created a need for additional services and additional people. This new building will enable us to grow our staff, especially in the service area.”
On hand for the open house was Mark Germain, vice-president of product support for Nortrax; Jim Earnshaw, Nortrax’s president and CEO; and Mark Hollister, Nortrax vice president. In addition, the staff of the West Palm Beach branch was recognized and rewarded with a bonus for their patience in waiting for the new facility.
The architect for the new facilities is OPN Architects Inc. out of Cedar Rapids, IA, and the contractor is Ryan Companies U.S. out of Davenport, PA. CEG Staff
