The Nortrax branch in Richmond, Ky., recently committed to the “Adopt a Soldier Program.” Nortrax Richmond adopted local area soldiers, SPC Nick Pollick and PFC Brian Baker, members of the 617th MP Company of the Kentucky National Guard.

Nortrax and its service supervisor, SSG Chad Harris, treated the soldiers to breakfast just hours before they embarked on their three year tour to the Arctic Circle. At breakfast, the soldiers were gifted with plenty of John Deere gear for their journey.

During the next three years Pollick and Baker will be serving their country by providing area security on a military installation in Alaska.

Nortrax will send monthly care packages to them during their tour of duty. Even though the soldiers will be away from home and their families, Nortrax will make sure they know that their sacrifice and service is appreciated.
