Nortrax welcomed more than 300 guests to the Nortrax Tennessee Region Demo Days at the Coffee County Fairgrounds, Manchester, Tenn., on May 2 and 3. The event was a celebration in honor of John Deere’s 175th anniversary. Customers were given the opportunity to view and operate the new K series dozers, G series excavators and K series loaders. Presentations on Tier IV emissions, work sight solutions and the integrated grade control systems for dozers, motorgraders and excavators also were part of the two days.

In addition, Nortrax teammates manned the grills and prizes were awarded, including the grand prizes of rental of a 301 J backhoe and a $500 Nortrax Bucks certificate. Smaller door prizes also were awarded throughout both days.

Marty Hlawati, Nortrax vice president, Tennessee region, said, “This event gave Deere/Nortrax an opportunity to be face to face with our customers. This also gave us a better understanding of the customer’s needs and how we can service and meet these needs as the economy begins to improve. We look forward to more of these events in the future and as always Deere/Nortrax is here to partner with our customers and meet their needs in the construction and forestry business.”
