The Nutter Family Foundation held its 14th annual Dozer Day May 19 to 20, 2018, at the Clark County Fairgrounds in Ridgefield, Wash.
This year, the foundation partnered with Evergreen Public Schools to host special needs students at a Dozer Day sneak preview. The preview was specifically geared to the children and included a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Kids had the chance to operate dozers, dump trucks, excavators and more.
For the first time, the Nutter Family Foundation and Evergreen Public Schools hosted 200 design-build students for Dozer Day's first-ever Career Fair.
Students had the opportunity to operate machinery, meet with construction-related business owners and visit exhibits meant to showcase career opportunities available in the construction industry.
