O&G Industries Takes on $43M Police Station Project in Stamford Conn.

O&G Industries, Connecticut's largest privately-held construction company and one of the country's Top 100 Green Building Contractors, has been awarded a contract to construct the Stamford Police Department's new headquarters.

The project includes the construction of a 94,000 square foot, four-story police headquarters with an attached four-story parking garage. The Police Department Headquarters will provide program space for administrative and general offices, detention cells and processing, storage and processing of evidence, firearms training range, patrol functions, training rooms and police support functions. Sitework includes the removal of 18,000 cubic yards of rock.

O&G is the general contractor for the $43 million project. The project architect is Jacunski Humes Architects of Berlin.
