Oregon DOT

ODOT held an open house for the Roseburg community on Feb. 6 to share information about the upcoming I-5: Exit 124 Signal Upgrades and Bellows Street Realignment project.

The open house displays, maps, graphics and other information also are available on the project website, www.Roseburg124.com.

This project will improve safety and the flow of traffic at the I-5 Harvard interchange (Exit 124) by realigning the southbound ramps and Bellows Street, replacing the traffic signals, adding turn lanes, upgrading the pedestrian system and making other changes.

Most construction will take place during the summer months, when school is out of session.

For two consecutive weeks this summer, the south end of Bellows Street and both southbound ramps at the Harvard interchange will be closed. Detours will be posted and maps are available on the project website.

The project involves some sidewalk repairs. Pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will be provided routes through or around the work zone.
