Forest industry professionals will gather at the Lane County Events Center and Fairgrounds in Eugene, Ore., for the 81st annual Oregon Logging Conference Feb. 21 to 23, 2019. This year's theme is “Building Products for Building Futures.”

The event offers educational opportunities, panel sessions, seminars and outside hands-on training workshops. Attendees have the opportunity to earn up to 11 professional logger credits/8 SAF-CFE credits by attending these programs and sessions.

“The Oregon Logging Conference is packed with unique opportunities for forestry professionals to network and learn more about their trade,” said Jim Dudley, 2019 OLC president. “The 2019 conference will certainly live up to its reputation as being the best logging, construction, trucking and heavy equipment shows west of the Mississippi.”

Equipment and attachment manufacturers, including OLC sponsors Caterpillar and Link-Belt will be on hand to show off the latest machines and technology for the logging and construction industries. Company representatives also will be available to answer any questions about their products. Many of the machines will be demonstrated and guests will have the chance to put themselves in the driver's seat.

Attendees also will have an opportunity to speak with equipment dealers for information on warranties, financing, service contracts and more. A short list of dealers and sponsors scheduled to be on hand include: Feenaughty Equipment, Modern Machinery, Papé Machinery — a member of Papé Group (OLC Sponsor), RDO Equipment, Triad Machinery (OLC Sponsor) and many more.

Auction companies, including J. Stout Auction, James G. Murphy Co. and Ritchie Bros. will be on hand to explain how easy purchasing used equipment is through their programs.

There's still time for your company to be represented with a booth at the event. For more information, call 541/686-9191.
