Terex Cranes introduces the new Terex RT 100 rough terrain crane.
The RT 100 is the newest addition to the Terex Cranes rough terrain crane portfolio and offers outstanding lifting capacity across all load ranges, according to the manufacturer. Its maximum lifting capacity is 100 tons (90 t) The RT 100 is the only CE marked rough terrain crane in the 80 to 100 ton (72.5 to 90 t) segment and the largest CE marked RT crane offered by Terex in Europe.
The crane’s engine features 262 hp (194 kW) at 2,200 rpm and full compliance with European directive 2,006/24 Step 3b. Power steering can be easily switched to two or four wheels.
The six-section boom can be extended up to a maximum length of 174 ft. (53 m) with a maximum tip height of 183 ft. (55.8 m). Two synchronized telescoping modes provide added functionality.
The RT 100 also is offered in a North American version rated at 100 U.S. tons lifting capacity. CQ
