PacWest Machinery announces that Brian Burke has joined the company as branch manager at its Kent, Wash., location with responsibility for the company's business in western Washington.

“We are very pleased that Brian has become an important member of the PacWest management team,” said Jolene Logue, president of PacWest Machinery. “His many years of sales and general management experience will greatly benefit our customers, employees and suppliers.”

Burke has enjoyed a successful career in the construction and related equipment businesses, including leadership positions at Volvo Construction Equipment, Ingersoll-Rand and Atlas Copco. His many leadership assignments include exposure to an extensive range of construction segments including civil, road, mining and aggregate processing, among others.

In addition, the entire PacWest organization is intently focused on delivering outstanding service to its growing base of customers.”

PacWest Machinery is the newest Volvo Construction Equipment dealer in North America with responsibility for the sales, rental and aftermarket support for the full line of Volvo's general production equipment, road machinery and compact equipment. The company also sells and services machinery from Metso, Roadtec, GOMACO, Tymco, SDLG, Etnyre, FRD Furukawa and Genesis. PacWest Machinery provides equipment and services to customers from four facilities located in Kent and Spokane, Wash., and in Portland and Eugene, Ore., plus additional support from an extensive mobile service fleet.
