PacWest Machinery has announced the purchase of land in Pasco, Wash., for the construction of a new dealership. Beginning in September 2019, PacWest Machinery customers in central Washington and north central Oregon will be supported from the new dealership facility on North Oregon Avenue in Pasco. PacWest Machinery is the dealer in the Pacific Northwest for Volvo Construction Equipment and other leading brands of machinery.
The new building will sit on nearly five acres and include a service department designed to inspect and repair a full range of equipment. There will be an onsite parts warehouse, diagnostic equipment and other modern service capabilities. The facility will enable the company to stock more equipment in the region and support its growing customer base. This new location will have easy freeway access making it efficient for customers to do business with PacWest Machinery.
"PacWest is excited to make this additional investment to meet the needs of our customers," said Jolene Logue, president of PacWest Machinery.
"We've seen continued growth in the construction and related industries in central Washington and Oregon, and we'll now be able to more efficiently support our customers," said Scott Upton, branch manager of PacWest Machinery's Spokane-based operation. "With the new branch, our PacWest team will deliver even higher levels of service and machine uptime to a broad range of customers in the region."
PacWest Machinery has responsibility for the sales, rental and aftermarket support in the Pacific Northwest for the full line of Volvo's general production, road machinery and compact equipment. In addition, the company supplies equipment from other quality manufacturers including Metso Minerals, Roadtec, Tymco, GOMACO, Etnyre, Broce, Gensis, FRD Furukawa and more.
PacWest Machinery currently provides equipment and aftermarket services from four facilities located in and near Seattle and Spokane, Wash., and Portland and Eugene, Ore., plus additional support from an extensive mobile service fleet. PacWest Machinery is owned by the Joshua Green Corporation and company management.
"We are excited to see PacWest Machinery invest in the infrastructure necessary to deliver exceptional customer support," said Steven Roy, president, Volvo CE Region Americas. "As Volvo grows its business in North America, investments like this are critical to providing customers with unique solutions and ensuring that they enjoy the highest uptimes in the industry from their machines. We're confident that with this new facility, PacWest will deliver the premium experience customers expect."
