The board of directors of ASC Construction Equipment USA Inc. has reorganized part of its management team.
Brad Stimmel has been named vice president and general manager of the Southern Region, which includes South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and parts of Mississippi and Florida. He will oversee all aspects of the business for ASC within that region.
Stimmel joined ASC on July 1 and comes with 33 years of experience in the heavy equipment business. He hopes to bring many new ideas and efforts to the Southern Region as ASC Volvo continues to expand its customer services, products and market presence.
Nuno Colaco will serve as vice president and chief financial officer of all of ASC. He joined ASC Volvo in 1998 and has served in many operational roles as well as support services throughout the ASC organization.
Manuel Prats has been appointed vice president and chief operations officer of all of ASC. He joined ASC after several years in the heavy equipment business. Prats has served in several operational roles throughout ASC Volvo before being promoted to this position.
ASC’s board is in the process of selecting a Mid-Atlantic Region general manager. Prats also will serve in that role until a permanent selection is made.
The Mid-Atlantic Region consists of North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee.
ASC sells, rents, and provides support services for Volvo equipment as well as for other brands complementary to the Volvo CE portfolio, such as Bomag, Champion, BTI and others.
Ingersoll Rand also was recently added to its offerings in North and South Carolina.
Operating in the southeastern United States, the company has its headquarters in Charlotte, N.C., and currently operates 17 branches throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama.
