It may be a few years before he takes over as president of Levea Hogeboom Contracting in Mohawk, N.Y., but Raiden Levea has determined that the seat of this Kubota excavator fits him just fine. Ken Boniface (L) catches up with his old friend and long-time customer Chris Vellenga of Vellenga Lawn Care in Pine Bush, N.Y. Stihl brought in a trailer load of power tools to fit every commercial or residential lawn and tree care application imaginable. The Pine Bush open house drew a big crowd from across the region, all of whom enjoyed a delicious pulled pork barbecue lunch. Pine Bush Equipment has been committed for many years to supporting local charities and organizations, including the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. Holly Bodnar (L), president of Pine Bush Equipment, thanks Liza Fragola for her continued efforts supporting the Relay for Life. This team of experts provided attendees with the latest information on the Komatsu Komtrax heavy equipment computer guidance system. Upon arrival, each guest was presented with a gift bag and given the opportunity to make donations to the local food pantry and the American Cancer Society. Pine Bush Equipment provides customers with an expanded array of e-services. Dave DeJong of Goosetown Communications, along with his pet duck mascot, explained to attendees the wide variety of Motorola Communications solutions his company has available. A little bit of equipment trivia … some of you may remember that at one time Geith had its U.S. headquarters just down the road from Pine Bush Equipment and Pine Bush was one of its first dealers.  Representing Geith products is Padraig Egan, territory manager. Mike Flynn (L), factory representative of Felling Trailers, discusses the lowboy needs of Martin Grabowski, president of Grabowski Masonry in Middletown, N.Y. Pine Bush Equipment proudly represents Gorilla Hammers. Bob Tedesco of Gorilla was on hand to answer questions. Fritz Muench (L) of Furukawa (Kent hammers) discusses some of his breakers’ newest features with Mike Bodnar of Pine Bush Equipment. ESCO presents Pine Bush Equipment an award recognizing its outstanding contribution for more than 30 years as an ESCO dealer. Pine Bush Equipment marked its 60th anniversary with an open house held, June 11, 2016, at its Pine Bush, N.Y., location. A second open house was held June 18 at its Newington, Conn., location for New England customers.

The event featured food, fun and prizes for the whole family, including a children's activity tent with crafts, games and a sandbox to dig in. Equipment demonstrations were held throughout the day featuring Komatsu's Intelligent Machine Control and an equipment rodeo that was sponsored by Kubota. Hundreds of contractors and their families from across the Hudson Valley were in attendance.
