Powerscreen Chieftain 2100 Provides Uniform Sizing

Construction Equipment Guide

The Powerscreen Chieftain 2100 triple-deck, 20 by 5-ft. (6 by 1.5 m) dry screen is designed and built for large-scale operations. The unit provides constant, uniform sizing and can process up to 500 tons (453 t) per hour, depending on mesh size and material type. The force in the screen is 25 percent greater due to larger bearings, providing optimum performance in wet, sticky applications, according to the manufacturer.

The Chieftain 2100 has an angle-adjustable tipping grid that is radio controlled. The plant is mobile and sets up ready to run in 15 minutes.

The triple-deck screen is riveted, not welded; is mounted on 12 springs; and has an oil-filled two-bearing system to eliminate the need for constant greasing. Additionally, the plant has hydraulic screen angle adjustment, screen tensioning and hydraulic folding side conveyors.

The Chieftain 2100’s typical applications include concrete/asphalt rubble, sand/gravel, topsoil, coal and crushed stone. The plant has a Deutz 2012C diesel power with engine-protection shutdown system. Optional tri-axle bogie system allows the machine to be transported without a low loader.
