Powerscreen Chieftain 2100X Includes Several Upgrades

Wed April 16, 2008 - National Edition
Construction Equipment Guide

Powerscreen’s new Chieftain 2100X is an upgrade of the Chieftain 2100. It is available as a two and three deck and has a 14 percent greater bottom deck screen area to provide much greater screening capability. It has greater stockpile capacity and sets up ready to run in less than 30 minutes. A new transverse power unit (Cat 4.4 ACERT) provides improved access and serviceability.

The Chieftain 2100X features an adjustable high amplitude two-bearing screen action, which can expose material to varying amplitudes and G force. This helps to separate material into the various required specifications. In addition, the hydraulic screen angle adjustment permits the material travel rate over the screen deck to vary, achieving the cleanest product in the most difficult applications, according to the manufacturer.

The oversize auxiliary stockpile conveyor hydraulically folds and transports with the plant, eliminating the need for assisted lifting devices. The 2100X has walkways on three sides for ease of maintenance and screen mesh changes. The screen box has been designed to use meshes from the existing Chieftain 2100.

The 2100X is Tier III compliant, adhering to global emission regulations.
