Powerscreen introduces its new large-scale “flagship” Phoenix 3300 trommel, the biggest two-way split mobile trommel screen in the Phoenix range. The Phoenix 3300 is designed for topsoil, recycling, wood chips and compost applications.
The Phoenix 3300’s four-wheel drive trommel friction drum system is designed for greater efficiency and reliability with heavy capacities and throughputs according to the manufacturer. The variable speed drum and feeder handle a variety of materials and applications. The drum load sensing system is a new technology that automatically stops the feeder to eliminate blockages and drum overloading. Remote control, fully integrated 180-degree radial product and fines conveyors provide for large stockpiling and flexibility in the working environment.
The drum design permits use of meshes from the existing Powerscreen Phoenix 1600 and 2100 product range. The drum lifts straight out of the trommel frame for drum changes. The engine is Tier III compliant and adheres to global emission regulations.
