Powerscreen of Indiana recently moved from its downtown Angola facility at 309 W. Stocker St. into a new facility at 255 N. Hetzler Ct., Suite C, in Angola. The new facility, located just off Interstate Route 69 and U.S. Route 20, sits on 9 acres of land, which offers plenty of room for storage and growth.

The new 16,000 sq. ft. facility provides substantially more space than Powerscreen of Indiana’s previous 3,000 sq. ft. facility. Along with office space, conference room, and lunchroom, the building holds four service bays and two bay areas for parts.

According to company President Gordon Anderson, when the property became available he saw an opportunity for increased visibility, a way to expand his operations, and quicker access to a major highway.

“Powerscreen Indiana has been an excellent dealer for Powerscreen,” said North America Powerscreen Sales Manager Gerald McCarthy. “They have been our dealer for 25 years because Gordon Anderson and his team have a relentless commitment to customer service and aftermarket support. They were never in business for the quick deal and that is why they have grown with their customers.

“Just like their customers, Powerscreen Indiana started small and Gordon has built a great company. We are excited to have dealers like Powerscreen Indiana who invest in new facilities to better serve our customers. Powerscreen Indiana has been loyal to the Powerscreen brand and contributed to our success in becoming the number one mobile crushing and screening company in North America.”

Powerscreen of Indiana has 10 employees, including three sales representatives, four service technicians, and two office administrators. Sales Manager Bryan Shutt is based in the Angola office, along with Parts Salesman Trent Ford. Salesman Art Belford covers southern Indiana from his base in Indianapolis. The company’s three service vehicles are kept busy servicing their customers throughout the state.

The move coincides with Powerscreen of Indiana’s celebration of its 25-year Anniversary. Anderson attributed the ongoing success to the quality of Powerscreen products and the entire staff’s focus on service and customer relationships. Anderson is still friends with his first customer from back in 1985, and added they would still be doing business but the gentleman has since sold his business and retired.
