Rammer Knocks Out 20 Series

Wed April 12, 2000 - Northeast Edition
Construction Equipment Guide

Rammer 20 series models are offered in six sizes from the S 21 with 449 N (101 ft/lb) actual impact energy to the S 29 at 3,781 N (850 ft/lb) actual impact energy.

These ratings are the Certified CIMA Tool Energy Rating which measures actual impact energy.

The 20 series models are ideal for use on mini-excavators, skid steer loaders, backhoe loaders and demolition robots. The Rammer design provides constant blow energy so all blows are at the full impact rate regardless of engine speed. This, coupled with a high impact frequency, provides a high level of productivity.

Most 20 series hammers are also available as Uniram models which allows direct pin mounting to most loaders and backhoes. This allows easy switching between carriers without the need for special brackets and simplifies installation on different carriers which makes them good for rental house and customer use. All are also available as silenced City models for quiet operation.

Rammer hammers are rugged. The housing design protects the hammer yet offers simple maintenance. Slip fit tool bushings provide long life and are easily serviced. The lower tool bushing and tools are field replaceable without removing the hammer from the housing. The integral membrane accumulators are reliable, leak proof and protect the carrier hydraulic system by dampening pressure pulsation. All are currently a one-year warranty.

The Rammer Ramses electronic documentation system provides detailed information in a handy CD-ROM package. Included are service manuals, video explanations of procedures, parts lists and other information. This provides in-shop and field service technicians with a portable PC a complete library on a CD.
