Ransome Promotes Kristin Bromley, Bree Rutherford

Kristin Bromley has been promoted to engine business manager of Ransome Engine in Bensalem, Pa., and Bree Rutherford has been promoted to corporate marketing specialist.

Bromley will be reporting to Jeff Sherman, vice president and general manager of the Engine Division.

Bromley started with the company in 2001 as an engine rental power sales representative, covering New Jersey and Delaware. In 2003, she became assistant marketing manager, where her responsibilities included advertising and e-business marketing. Most recently, she was a rental store manager in Pleasantville, N.J., where she focused on increasing customer satisfaction and branch profitability.

In her new role, Bromley will be responsible for executing strategic business plans for the engine sales department, including improved collaboration with the engine sales and service operations, as well as, implementation of customer relationship management (CRM) methodology into business processes. She also will work closely with the segmented industry managers and Caterpillar representatives on developing new strategies to increase market share and profitably grow the business.

Bree Rutherford has been promoted to the position of corporate marketing specialist. She will report to Dennis Runyen, chief operating officer.

Rutherford joined Ransome as a marketing coordinator/call center representative in September of 2004, with the goal of developing leads and increasing sales coverage. Shortly thereafter, she redirected her focus as CRM marketing coordinator, where she worked to create and articulate key CRM messages.

As corporate marketing specialist, Rutherford will assume the role as CRM champion in an effort to continue implementation and support of the CRM application, Sales Link. She also will develop and oversee the integration and alignment of all advertising, mass media, communications and brand development in our marketplace.

Rutherford will act as the liaison between Caterpillar and the dealership to maximize the impact of Caterpillar’s global advertising framework. In addition, she also will be responsible for managing the content and development of the corporate Web site.
