IROCK Crushers announces the addition of Rasmussen Equipment Company to the company's growing dealer network within the western region of the United States.

Rasmussen Equipment Company was founded in 1947 as a wire, rope and rigging supply company serving Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada and Colorado.

As the business grew, Rasmussen began selling equipment lines to meet customer needs. Among the many equipment categories offered, the dealership has been providing crushing and screening equipment rentals, sales and service to quarries, recycling operations and construction companies within their market area for the past 20 years.

Randy Gallegos, Rasmussen Equipment Company vice president of sales, said because the crushing and screening equipment category has seen many manufacturer consolidations, the dealership felt it was time to investigate a new crushing and screening equipment supplier.

According to Gallegos, with long-standing customer relationships to protect and maintain, it was important that the line they took on offered outstanding levels of dependability, productivity and value.

After meeting with Dan Davis, Western region manager of IROCK Crushers and Sean Donaghy, national sales manager, Gallegos was impressed with the company's selection and quality of the crushing and screening machines. He also was impressed that at all levels, IROCK demonstrated a degree of expertise backed by a strong support structure that made the company stand out.

For Gallegos, however, the appeal was the machines themselves, he also liked the fact that IROCK's crushers are manufactured in the United States. He found that IROCK's machines are well built and designed to withstand the harsh conditions and demands on the worksite.

Davis, having worked in the Western region for years, was very familiar with Rasmussen Equipment Company and its reputation for a keen understanding of customer needs in a wide range of niche markets. He went on to say that the dealership is noted for an ability to match the right product for a given application as well as a strong focus on service. According to Davis, the dealership has been in the crushing and screening business for decades and he's confident that their industry knowledge will be a significant asset as IROCK's dealer representatives.

Rasmussen Equipment Company will serve as IROCK's distributor for the entire state of Utah. The company has acquired a TS-516 track scalping screen plant, and is currently awaiting delivery of a TC-20 track impact crusher and a TS-409 track scalping screen plant. Rasmussen also is building an inventory of standard IROCK service and parts.

Gallegos, along with everyone at Rasmussen Equipment Company are enthusiastic about taking on the IROCK line, reporting response from its customers has been very positive.

As well as IROCK crushing and screening machines, Rasmussen Equipment Company is the authorized dealer of Kawasaki wheel loaders; Link-Belt excavators; Bomag compaction; Sennebogen material handlers; Terex trucks; Atlas Copco hydraulic breakers and attachments; Genesis attachments; NorAm motorgraders; Wacker and Yanmar mini-excavators and skid steers; JLG SkyTrak telehandlers; Hyundai; and Husqvarna.
