RDO Integrated Controls will host a Topcon Global Positioning System (GPS) and Machine Control Demonstration on Sept. 23 and 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Roadshow presentation will be begin at 8:30 a.m. at RDO Equipment Co. in Billings, Mont., located at 5221 Midland Road, with a live demonstration starting at 12:30 p.m. at Johnson Lane Materials.
This event, sponsored by RDO Integrated Controls and Topcon Positioning Systems, will feature the newest machine control products from Topcon, including the 3D-MC2 system — a high speed machine control product that enables one dozer to do the work of two. The event will feature a presentation by technical product experts from Topcon, as well as a live demo that customers can participate in at a demonstration site. The following machines will be spotlighted, configured with Topcon most current systems: 764 high speed dozer; 772GP motorgrader; 772D motorgrader; 750J dozer; and 200DLC excavator.
“This event is a way for customers to see first hand the future of machine control in the construction industry and become more familiar with the revolutionary new products that Topcon has developed to increase productivity, efficiency and accuracy in the field,” said Jay Mercer, RDO integrated controls manager. “It will also be the first opportunity customers in Montana will have to see and operate the construction industries’ first new machine form in over 27 years, the high speed dozer. This machine, along with Topcon’s 3D-MC2 system, is capable of maintaining a grade at over 11 miles per hour.
Space is limited for participants; register online at www.topconroadshow.com, or call 800/234-5420.
