Record Crowds Attend 21st Annual Paving Seminar at W.I. Clark's Wallingford HQ

Frank Apuzzo, broker, of Ferguson and McGuire Insurance Services, Wallingford Conn., sponsored breakfast, which included coffee and baked goods from Neil’s Donuts.

Representatives from Hamm, Wirtgen, Vogele and Kleemann were available to discuss the latest technologies, safety precautions and care applications for all of their machines.

W.I. Clark provided guests with a catered lunch by Deli 66 located in Plantsville, Conn.

This LeeBoy 8515 paver was just one of the machines on display at W.I. Clark’s paving seminar. Representatives were available to provide demonstrations and answer customer questions.

The W.I. Clark Company, headquartered in Wallingford, Conn., hosted a record turnout for its 21st annual paving seminar on March 30.

The paving seminar is held each year to create awareness of the Hamm, Vogele, Wirtgen, Kleeman and Leeboy products available at W.I. Clark. The seminar not only educates the local contractors and municipalities on how to properly maintain and care for their machine, but it also teaches them about innovative technology that all the manufacturers continue to provide to maintain a cutting-edge reputation in the industry.

W.I. Clark provides this service to customers because it gives everyone a first-hand tutorial on all the machines before the start of the season, and allows each employee an opportunity to receive clarity on any questions or concerns they may have before it's a potential issue on the jobsite.

Proactive education ensures that the owners and operators can fully utilize all the benefits each machine has to offer, and also ensures that they are properly educated on the maintenance, which results in better care and longevity of the equipment. Attendees left feeling confident about the machines and were eager for the season to begin.
