Ritchie Bros. Hosts More Than 2,800 Bidders at Auction in Chicago

More than 2,800 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros.' multi-million-dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Chicago, Ill., on Dec. 8.

With bidders from 40 countries, approximately 54 percent of the equipment in the auction was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as India, Ukraine and Japan. Online bidders purchased approximately 59 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

More than 1,450 equipment items and trucks were sold in the auction, including more than 40 excavators, 45 skid steers, 10 loaders, 15 compactors, 35 aerial work platforms, 20 dump trucks, 135 truck tractors, 105 trailers, and more.
